Day 10 - QCU

Paula and Meegan rejoined all ASMP participants for a final debrief and report back to each other about our experiences.  It was interesting to hear how the different union experiences shared similarities of issues and practices yet were also different in many ways.

We're glad and proud to have had the opportunity to participate in the project.

Meanwhile, the CFMEU, ETU and BLF boys were at the Laing O'Rourke site where the EBA had been breached and making the workers work RDOs and long hours had led to a series of accidents.  The outcome: the workers downed their tools and went home for a much needed long weekend to rest and reinvigorate for next week.

After the ASMP luncheon, Meegan joined the boys for an update on the meeting and outcomes. 

Meegan:  Thanks to all CFMEU organisers who made me feel welcome and involved throughout the week.  What a learning curve!
